Terms & Conditions

MJK Law Corp. — Website Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: October 5, 2026 Last Updated: October 5, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and MJK Law Corp. (“MJKLC,” “the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of www.mjklawcorp.com and any content, features, and services offered on or through it (the “Website”).

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy at www.mjklawcorp.com, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Website.

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing or using the Website, you accept these Terms on your own behalf and, if you are using the Website for an organization, on that organization’s behalf. You represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with the Firm. If you do not meet this requirement or do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Website.

2. No Legal Advice

The Website and its content are provided for general informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. The content is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney concerning your specific facts and circumstances. You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of any information on the Website without first seeking legal advice from qualified counsel licensed in the appropriate jurisdiction. We make no representation that the content is current, complete, or applicable to your situation.

3. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Your access to or use of the Website does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and the Firm. An attorney-client relationship with the Firm is formed only when you and the Firm execute a written engagement agreement, signed by an authorized representative of the Firm, that expressly establishes that relationship. Contacting the Firm through the Website, submitting information through a contact form, or sending an email does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship or any duty on the Firm’s part to take or refrain from any action.

4. Confidential and Unsolicited Information

Do not send the Firm any confidential, sensitive, or time-sensitive information through the Website or by email until an attorney-client relationship has been established through a signed written engagement agreement. Any information you submit through the Website before that relationship is established will not be treated as privileged or confidential, may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege, and will not create any conflict of interest that would prevent the Firm from representing another party. We are not obligated to keep such information confidential, except as specifically provided in our Privacy Policy.

5. Attorney Advertising

The Website may be considered attorney advertising under the rules of professional conduct of one or more jurisdictions. Any results the Firm may have achieved on behalf of clients were dependent on the specific facts of those matters, and prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them and apply to all access to and use of the Website thereafter. Your continued use of the Website after we post revised Terms means you accept the changes. We encourage you to review this page each time you access the Website so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.

7. Accessing the Website

We reserve the right to withdraw, amend, suspend, or discontinue the Website, and any content, feature, or service we provide on the Website, in our sole discretion and without notice. We will not be liable if, for any reason, all or any part of the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of the Website, or the entire Website, to users.

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary to access the Website and for ensuring that all persons who access the Website through your internet connection are aware of and comply with these Terms. If you are provided with, or create, any credentials to access non-public areas of the Website, you must keep them confidential, and you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your credentials.

8. Intellectual Property Rights and Ownership of Content

The Website and its entire contents, features, and functionality — including all information, text, articles, displays, images, graphics, video, audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement of those elements — are owned by the Firm, its licensors, or other providers of such material, and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

These Terms permit you to use the Website for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may view, and temporarily cache, Website content in the ordinary course of browsing, and you may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference, provided you do not modify the content and you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, you must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any material on the Website, and you must not use any content for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

No right, title, or interest in or to the Website or any of its content is transferred to you, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved by the Firm. If you breach these Terms, your right to use the Website ends immediately, and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made. Any use of the Website not expressly permitted by these Terms is a breach of these Terms and may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

9. Trademarks

The Firm’s name, the MJK Law Corp. name, the Firm’s logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of the Firm or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use these marks without the Firm’s prior written permission. All other names, logos, and marks on the Website are the trademarks of their respective owners.

10. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Website in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
  • Use the Website to transmit or procure the sending of any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent, including any “junk mail,” “chain letter,” “spam,” or similar solicitation.
  • Impersonate or attempt to impersonate the Firm, a Firm employee or attorney, another user, or any other person or entity.
  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Website, or that, as determined by us, may harm the Firm or users of the Website or expose them to liability.
  • Use the Website in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair it, or interfere with any other party’s use of the Website.
  • Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access the Website for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any material on the Website, without our prior written consent.
  • Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any part of the Website, the server on which it is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Website, including through any denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attack.
  • Otherwise attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Website.

11. User Submissions

The Website may allow you to submit information or materials to us, such as through a contact form, an email link, or any interactive feature we may offer (“Submissions”). Subject to Section 4 and our Privacy Policy, any Submission you provide will be treated as non-confidential. You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights in your Submissions and that your Submissions do not violate these Terms or the rights of any third party. You are solely responsible for your Submissions and for their legality, reliability, accuracy, and appropriateness. We are not responsible or liable to any third party for the content or accuracy of any Submission.

12. Reliance on Information Posted

The information presented on or through the Website is made available solely for general informational purposes. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of this information, and any reliance you place on it is strictly at your own risk. Any content attributable to third parties reflects the views of those parties and not necessarily those of the Firm, and we are not responsible or liable for the content or accuracy of any third-party materials.

13. Links to Other Websites

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or resources, provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage arising from your use of them. If you access any third-party website linked from the Website, you do so entirely at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of use for that website.

14. Geographic Scope

We make no representation that the Website or its content is appropriate or available for use outside the United States. If you access the Website from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE, ITS CONTENT, AND ANY SERVICES OR ITEMS OBTAINED THROUGH THE WEBSITE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE WEBSITE, ITS CONTENT, AND ANY SERVICES OR ITEMS OBTAINED THROUGH THE WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NEITHER THE FIRM NOR ANY PERSON ASSOCIATED WITH THE FIRM MAKES ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPLETENESS, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE WEBSITE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, NEITHER THE FIRM NOR ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH THE FIRM REPRESENTS OR WARRANTS THAT THE WEBSITE, ITS CONTENT, OR ANY SERVICES OR ITEMS OBTAINED THROUGH THE WEBSITE WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, ERROR-FREE, OR UNINTERRUPTED, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, THAT OUR SITE OR THE SERVER THAT MAKES IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT THE WEBSITE WILL OTHERWISE MEET YOUR NEEDS OR EXPECTATIONS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, THE FIRM HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

THE FOREGOING DOES NOT AFFECT ANY WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE FIRM, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE WEBSITE, ANY WEBSITES LINKED TO IT, OR ANY CONTENT ON THE WEBSITE OR SUCH OTHER WEBSITES, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR LOSS OF DATA, WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE.

THE FOREGOING DOES NOT AFFECT ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Firm, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Website, including your Submissions or your use of any information obtained from the Website.

18. Modification or Termination of Access

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without notice, to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Website (in whole or in part) and to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or part of the Website for any reason, including any actual or suspected violation of these Terms. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, discontinuation, or termination. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 2 through 5, 8, 9, and 12 through 22 — will survive.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All matters relating to the Website and these Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice- or conflict-of-law provision or rule.

Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Website shall be instituted exclusively in the federal or state courts located in the County of Los Angeles, State of California. You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.

20. Limitation on Time to File Claims

ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE WEBSITE MUST BE COMMENCED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES; OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.

21. Waiver and Severability

No waiver by the Firm of any term or condition set out in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of that term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of the Firm to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of these Terms will continue in full force and effect.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and MJK Law Corp. regarding the Website and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the Website.
