Meet Our Founder

Mark J. Kayton is a General Counsel and legal executive with more than 30 years of experience guiding companies through complex corporate governance, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management. His work spans the FinTech, financial services, title insurance, and real estate sectors, where he has led mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, multi-state licensing, and high-stakes litigation and claims resolution.

Earlier in his career, as Vice President of the Real Estate Insurance Group at AmTrust North America, Mark co-invented and commercialized a first-of-its-kind property and casualty insurance product, securing regulatory approval in 24 states, and supported the formation of a multi-state title insurance underwriter, acing as interim Chief Underwriting Officer and representing the organization on the boards of TIRSA and NYSLTA. He has also served as General Counsel and senior executive across multiple affiliated entities in title insurance, property preservation, and foreclosure auction operations, and as a consultant and executive director restructuring leadership and operations at a national law firm.

Mark holds a Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. He is admitted to practice in California, Florida and Washington. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
