Mark J. Kayton

Meet the Founder

Mark J. Kayton is a business attorney with more than 30 years of experience advising companies across a wide range of industries.

He has served as general counsel to businesses ranging from title insurance and settlement services companies to technology providers and emerging companies. His legal experience spans real estate, corporate and other transactions.

Mark has particularly deep experience in the title insurance and settlement services space, including RESPA, anti-kickback laws, regulatory compliance, claims management and the business relationships that connect title companies, mortgage companies, Realtors, brokers, homebuilders, and other industry participants.

He earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, magna cum laude, in 1992, and is admitted to practice in California, Florida and Washington.
